HOW TO SPEED UP YOUR METABOLISM

DRINK COFFEE
Drinking coffee speeds up your metabolism. A cup of coffee in the morning will not only start off your day right, and increase energy, it will also help your body burn calories. This is a favorite of mine to start the day!

DRINK WATER
Drink Water, burn more calories. The body needs water to process calories which in turn speeds up your metabolism. Adults should drink eight or more glasses of water a day. Ice cold water is better than room temperature because your body has to work harder to warm up thus burning more calories.

LIFT WEIGHTS
Lifting weights at least 3 times a week for 45 minutes or more will burn tons of calories, and also speed up your metabolism even when your body is at rest. Women don’t be afraid to lift weights. You will not bulk up instead you will gain muscle and burn more calories and your clothes will fit better.

PROTEIN
Eating more lean, protein-rich foods will boost metabolism because your body burns more calories to digest Protein as compared to Carbohydrates or Fats.

GREEN TEA and OOLONG TEA
Both teas offer a jolt of caffeine and catechins, which rev up the metabolism.
